Best Infant Car Seats

There is no best baby infant car seat out there because everyone has different car model and company. And it is hard to define which one is best infant car seat for any type of car model. For example, infant car seat that fits properly in Honda Accord may not fit in Audi A3. There is only one way to ensure which infant car seat is good for your vehicle or car. And that is to install baby infant car seat after purchasing. And if installing the infant car seat requires moving passengers seat replace that infant car seat with smaller one.

Safety 1st Grow and Go 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat

The top priority is baby’s comfort in infant car seat. It does not matter either the comfort one is cheaper as compare to others. Or also you can use baby infant car seat for a year or maximum two so you don’t have to spend too much money on this. Simply buy a cheaper and comfortable one for this short period of time. According to a research rear-facing car seats are good for baby as they had an extremely low risk of any kind of injury in a crash or accident.

Types of Infant Car Seats

There are two types of infant car seats

  • American infant car seat
  • European infant car seat

The European baby infant car seats are more expensive as compared to American baby infant car seats because they have some additional safety feature like anti rebound feature. An anti rebound device is good during rare or impact collision as it prevents the head of the seats from flipping up and down. An anti rebound device is like the form of a load leg to prevent any kind of head injury during a collision.

European infant car seat has a European style belt path which means that the shoulder portion of the shoulder/lap is belt is routed behind the seat for a baseless belt installation. I recommend installing European trend infant car seat in taxis as it installs quickly and is also safe without a base.

Customer Reviews

I have a one month old baby and this car seat has been perfect for us! It is lightweight and very easy to get in and out of the car. It is also easy to get our baby in and out of. My only complaint would be that the base that came with the car seat is not quite as nice as the base we bought separately for this car seat. I’m not sure why they are not he same. Otherwise, we were very pleased and would recommend this car seat to others! By Kat, First Time Mother

We have had this car seat since our daughter was born (at the time of writing, she is almost 10 months old.) We are “new” parents so this is also our first time dealing with car seats. We’re really thankful that the car seat itself is easy to attach to the base, and that it can also be quickly snapped in to an adaptable stroller. However, the seat is looking increasingly uncomfortable as our child grows. We live in Washington State where it doesn’t get largely hot, but our daughter also often gets very sweaty while sitting in it in our mildly warm weather. I do worry about her overall comfort in this seat at times but it has high safety reviews and seems to be well liked by many parents and guardians. By Savannah, Parent of One Baby

First of all, my toddler absolutely loves this seat. He puts all his toys in the cup holder and thinks it’s the coolest thing around. It’s also fairly lightweight and was easy to bring on an airplane with us. However, it is IMPOSSIBLE to loosen the latch once you get the thing installed in the car. My husband can do it only by holding down the button and throwing his full body weight against the seat. I have never been able to get it out of the car. Too bad we did not discover this sooner, or I would have returned the seat. We’re currently searching for a new seat that’s easier to use, and will use this one as a backup. By Colby’s Mommy, First Time Parent

This car seat is stylish, easy to use and my son fits comfortably in it. I love that it has the little holders for the safety straps so I can place him in the car seat without having to fish for the straps. At a full recline it stills fits in my backseat without me or my passenger having to move our seats forward. I like that all the padding can be customized because it allows for a great, safe, set up for my son. By KGMomma, First Time Parent

We have (2) of these. Our 1yr old loves it. Tons of padding, he sits higher and enjoys looking around.
I recommend, for rear-facing, SUV/CUV or large sedan.
We keep each in our Explorer and Journey, which they fit well. However, our Cruze and standard cab Silverado, this seat is far too large, leaving the passenger seat completely forward in the Cruze. The truck, the seat belt does not keep him from rocking/tilting on even moderate turns, and the seat is too large for the center seat w/ a lap belt.
I assume all of the additional padding is the reason our son is drenched in sweat when we pull him out, even on mid-70’s and the a/c cranked.
All in all, I would say this is a good choice if you have the right vehicle.
Im looking forward to the reduced footprint when he can ride facing forward… It’d be nice to drive the Cruze again. By Sundevildaddy, Parent of Two or More Children
